Dua Ajrash is a Kuwaiti artist and fashion designer whose creative world has been shaped between Kuwait, Florence and Bali. Her relationship with art began long before fashion — through drawing, colour, form and an instinctive need to create. She later moved to Florence, where she studied art before completing a Master’s in Fashion and Business at Polimoda. Italy became an important part of her visual language, deepening her appreciation for craftsmanship, beauty and the poetry found in everyday life. Her roots in Kuwait remain an essential part of who she is, while years of travel and life between different cultures have allowed her work to evolve freely. Bali became another chapter — a place of stillness, nature and intuition that brought her closer to a slower and more instinctive way of creating. For Dua, fashion is an extension of art — a language through which femininity, emotion and movement take form. She creates from feeling rather than convention, allowing each collection to begin with an emotion, a place, a memory or simply a moment of light.
